What BreadRoute is, and what it isn't

We explain financing and insurance for people who move freight, in plain trucking terms. When you're ready, we send your request to third-party financing providers or licensed insurance partners that fit what you asked for.

What we do

BreadRoute is a site for trucking and logistics businesses. We do two things.

First, we explain. Our product pages, guides, and tools cover how equipment financing, working capital, factoring, and the main commercial insurance lines work, what they cost to think through, and what providers and agencies usually ask for.

Second, we route. If you want to talk to someone about financing or insurance, you start a request with us. Financing requests go to third-party providers. Insurance requests go to licensed insurance partners.

Who we write for

People who run or serve trucking and logistics operations:

What we cover

Financing. Equipment financing for trucks, trailers, and related equipment; working capital and lines of credit; factoring and accounts receivable financing; asset-based lending; SBA loans; and merchant cash advances. Fuel cards get a short explainer.

Insurance. Commercial insurance lines for trucking operations, grouped three ways: the trucking core lines (such as primary auto liability, motor truck cargo, and physical damage), business and liability lines, and property and people lines.

What we are not

  • Not a lender. We don't lend money, make credit decisions, or set rates or terms. The providers your request goes to make their own decisions.
  • Not a licensed insurance agency. We don't sell, quote, or bind insurance, and we don't act as your agent. Licensed insurance partners handle any coverage options.
  • Not a ranking site. We don't rate, review, or rank providers or insurers, and we don't show partner logos.
  • Not a source of personal advice. Our guides and tools are general information. They are not financial, legal, tax, or insurance advice for your situation.

How a request works

  1. You pick financing or insurance. They are separate requests with separate forms.
  2. You answer a short set of questions about your operation and what you need.
  3. We send your request on. Financing requests go to third-party providers. Insurance requests go to licensed insurance partners.
  4. They contact you. The provider or partner your request goes to reaches out about your request. Any offer, terms, or coverage options come from them, not from us.

You can see the exact consent wording on the form before you submit. Our disclosures explain what submitting a request means.

Why we route requests instead of making offers

Financing providers look for different things. One wants two years in business; another works with new authorities. One finances older units; another won't. A single request that can reach more than one third-party provider saves you from guessing which door to knock on. The same goes for insurance: different licensed insurance partners write different lines and work with different insurers.

We stay out of the decision. We don't set terms, price coverage, or tell you which offer to take. That keeps the explaining and the deciding in separate hands.

How BreadRoute makes money

Financing providers and our licensed insurance partners may pay BreadRoute a referral fee or commission when we pass along a request or when a deal closes. That compensation may affect which partners we recommend and where offers appear. Operators do not pay BreadRoute or its partners to submit a request. Any fees on a financing deal are set by the provider and are separate.
